Our ancestors flourished as members of a tribe. Today, nothing’s changed. You feel a sense of belonging surrounded by people you know and like.

But at the same time, everything’s changed. Everyone lives in big cities where you can’t possibly know everyone and it’s too easy to know no-one.

We’ve experienced the difficulties of finding a community in the big city first hand. With jobs that required constant relocation, we struggled to put down roots. It felt like we were missing out on all the benefits of city life, because we couldn’t find our tribe.

During the first lockdown, things felt lonelier than ever. We realised that this wasn’t a new feeling, though. We’d been experiencing social isolation for far longer.

But it was no longer something we could ignore, so we set out to create a space where you could find your village community in every city.

We want you to always have access to a community where you can be yourself and have a good time.
